Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi Guys! My name is Boone, my foster mommy likes to call me Boone Boone or Boony. I am about two years old and weigh 28#. We think that I was being trained as hunting dog and got lost and was then found by a super nice lady! I am a very sweet and lovable boy that likes to cuddle! I love to play with other dogs, but sometimes I can be bossy with my favorite toys. I do pretty well with cats but I will admit that I do like to chase them sometimes. I much prefer having a fenced in backyard to run, play and explore in. If I'm on a leash I really don't think about going potty because of all the smells. If I don't have a secure fence, my beagle traits do overwhelm me and I will run away... I can also open the fence latches so a lock is a must! I love the kids in my foster home but I have never been around really small children. I like to play with my kids and sit in their lap. I love to play with toys and chew on my bones. I also love to play in the sprinkler and pool when it's hot outside. I am crate trained, with only a rare accident, and I am working on house training. I don't like to go bye-bye, I get very nervous and I always get sick and will sometimes even go potty cause I'm so scared. I really try to be a good boy, but I sure do love to explore and chew on things. I know how to open cupboard doors and like to pull things out and play with them, (my foster mom got smart and put baby locks on the cupboards so I can't get in). If you leave something within my reach like a cell phone, vacuum attachment or a roll of paper towels, let me warn you now, they are fair game! Just keep everything you don't want me to have up and leave out lots of toys and bones and all will be good! I can't wait to have my very own family that will love me and care for me forever! I promise I will do my best to be a good boy!
