Meet Jim Dandy, a super-friendly fellow looking for a family to call his own. If you are looking for a “dog park dog”, Jim Dandy could be the dog for you. He LOVES to play with other dogs. He will romp and run with the big dogs and plays very gently with our smaller dogs. He is even tolerant of our cats although a bit unsure about exactly what they are. He is very good with children. We met Jim Dandy in a rural South Carolina shelter where he was “just another black dog”. We could tell that there was something special about him though. His joyful, happy attitude has had such a positive impact on all of us here at Cedar Farm but it is now time for him to find a home of his own. He will be a wonderful addition to any family. Jim Dandy is crate-trained and house broken. He is very eager to please and smart, so adjusting to a new home should be a breeze. He walks wonderfully on lead and loves to ride in the car. Jim Dandy is 2 and a half years old and weighs 44 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
