My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arrival Story: Suzie and Teddy came from the Macomb County Animal Shelter where their family brought them after they were their faithful companions for over 10 years. Teddy is the smaller of the two with the shorter hair. Suzie has longer hair, though they were both groomed.

Age / Weight: Suzie is 12 years old and approx. 7 lbs.

Personality Description: Suzie and Teddy are sweet and loving. Suzie is the quieter of the two, preferring to nap and quietly lay around the house. She does well with the dog and cat in her foster home.

They both have spunk and you'd never know they were considered "seniors". Please know though, that toy poodles can live to be 17/18 years old so they still have many years of love and devotion to give to the right person/family.

Ideal Forever Home: Suzie would prefer a home without too much commotion and would do best in a home without small children as she does prefer the quiet life. She would make a wonderful companion for a retired couple looking for a quiet, housetrained dog to keep them company. They both deserve homes where they will live out the remaining days filled with love and care. They have much to offer so please give these seniors a chance.

Suzie's adoption fee is $100 or adopt both Teddy and Suzie for $175! They are complleted vetted - vaccines, dentals, microchipping and heartworm tested and are ready for their new home!
