My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for an adorable little companion then Rudy is the one for you. He is approximately 2 years old but is still a playful, affectionate and charming pup. He is a cuddly little guy who loves attention. He is very playful and would be fine with respectful children of any age. He is clean and quiet in the home and just wants to be with people.

Rudy is a total companion dog. He loves to be with people. He is a sensitive little dog who is in tune to your emotions and when all is good he does his little happy dance and smiles his big happy grin. When you are not feeling well he can get that sad look on his little face. Just an endearing little charmer, Rudy will keep you smiling. He is good with other dogs and cats and would be fine with respectful children of any age. He would enjoy going for walks, cuddling on the couch and would be fine in an apartment as he is quiet and calm in the home.

You don’t see a lot of Pekingese around these days but I am not sure why as they are always one of my favourites. I find their small but sturdy size makes them ideal family pets. They are happy little dogs that enjoy doing whatever you are doing and seem to be content just being near you. They are not clingy however and do like to play and run about with other dogs but definitely they are more interested in being with their people.

Rudy does display some of the regal bearing of these dogs and is not prone to getting himself involved in any confrontations with other dogs. He will find a corner and sit out any disturbance. He can be independent but prefers to be with his people. He loves being held and cuddled and will give lots of Peke-kisses.

Rudy will fit into just about any environment as long as you make him a part of your daily life. He would not do well sitting alone for long hours each day but a normal working day would be fine. He enjoys playing with you and going for walks would keep his mind active and help ensure he doesn’t gain too much weight.

A darling boy that will bring sunshine into your life.
