My brother Scootch & I came from a puppy mill. I came to the shelter pregnant. After I had my pups they were going to put me down because I was afraid of people. Lucky for me All About Paws agreed to take me because they knew I would make someone a wonderful pet. I’ve come a long way since being in foster care, and though I’m still nervous when I meet new people, I can be won over pretty quickly, especially if you have treats! Then watch out – I’m a total lovebug and you’ll have a hard time getting me off your lap! When I’m with my foster mom, I’m comfortable meeting all kinds of people and have not yet met a dog I didn’t love! I am 3 yrs old & weigh 10 lbs. I walk on a leash & am housebroken, but must have a fenced yard. I would do best in a home with older children and preferably another canine brother or sister of any size to curl up with like I do now. I’ll need a home that will continue to work with me – I know the people around me are good to me, but I’m still figuring out that most everyone I meet will be good to me too! Lucy is up to date on all shots, is heart worm negative and microchipped, and has had a dental and been spayed. Lucys adoption fee is $150.00. For an adoption application, e-mail buckyditsy@yahoo.com. All potential adopters are required to fill out and submit an adoption application. Once the application is reviewed and approved a home visit from a rescue representative is scheduled. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, we do not ship dogs.
