My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cherokee is AWESOME! He is gorgeous, nice, sweet, loveable, mild mannered and just everything great. Cherokee is about 2 years old and weighs about 60lbs. We believe he is a lab/husky mix and his coat is a soft yellow healthy texture. His foster mom is simply in love with him and just knows that he is going to find a special and loving home quickly. This poor boy came into a very high kill shelter with obvious signs of neglect. His ears were fly bitten, he was skinny and very unkept. With some TLC and basic care, he has turned out to be one special guy. Cherokee gets along with everyone, even the cats. He is a mild mannered, medium energy dog, but will need appropriate exercise and obedience skills. He does know sit, walks okay on lead, takes treats nicely, crate trained and working on house manners. He loves to chew on compressed rawhide bones and loves to snuggle with his people. He will be great for walks around the neighborhood, playtime at the local dog park, hiking and some great family time with lots of kisses and hugs. Cherokee is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He is microchipped and kept on frontline and heartgard.
