Domino's Story...
Domino is a really sweet guy. He is a guest listing for our good friends at Southen Born Rescue. He is being fostered by us, here in St. Louis. Domino is a black with white smooth coat chihuahua. He is about 7 years old, 8 1/2 pounds. Domino is a retired breeder chihuahua so he hasn't known a lot of love in his past. He's learning quickly though and will now come looking for attention. He's a favorite in his foster home! He's crate trained and does well with piddle pads and going outside. He loves to snuggle and will give kisses when he's comfortable with you. He loves to be in your lap. His adoption fee is $150 and includes vaccinations, worming, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, and neuter. Please note that SBR does not place dogs in homes on a first come first served basis. They do their best to match the dog with adopters. You can fill out an adoption application at http://www.mhpets.com/application.php

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Domino, a House Springs Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
