My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

With the intelligence of a Border Collie and the clownish behaviours of a Bulldog, this young girl is ready for anything. She would excel at obedience training and would make a lovely family companion. She is an affectionate girl that loves people and other animals alike. She would be great as a second dog or in a home where she gets all the attention for herself. She is approximately 9 months old and currently weighs just over 30 lbs.

Rebel did the walk for cancer and was a hit with everyone. She is just such a friendly girl and easily travels in crowds with no issues. She has been on other group walks and out to the dog park to play with friends and easily mingles with everyone. She is also very good with the cats in her foster home and loves people of all ages. She is crate trained and remains in her crate when her foster mom is out of the house without any problems. She is clean and quiet in the home. She does snort like a Bulldog at times and snores worse then an exhusband! She is learning sit, wait and is coming along nicely with leash manners.

Rebel is a particularly sweet natured and affectionate girl. She is a bit of a bull in a china shop, and will nip when playing, so may not be suited for a family with small children. She would do best in a family with older children who can run and play with her, and she will definately need daily walks. She likes a cuddle, and will often sleep beside her foster mom on the bed.

Rebel is still very much a puppy and will need someone that is willing to work with her or take her to obedience classes. She is praise and food motivated and eager to please. Like any puppy she needs someone that will be home more often than not and who would enjoy this sweet girl and her antics. She is a moderately active dog that would love to go hiking, roller blading or taking strolls along the beach. She loves to play rough with her foster sibling Jethro but will just as well play gently with the cats. (See Rebel’s video which was taken just one hour after she came into foster care)

If you think Rebel would be a good fit for your family, please go to our website at http://uglymutts.com andsubmit an application for consideration.
