Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"NESS" -- Something has traumatized this baby, but she does not shown any aggression when approached, even though she is very scared. She is slowly blossoming into a charming little character to those few people she trusts. Sweetness, sensitivity, intelligence and a great power of observation are all hers. She loves kisses, body massages, and especially ear rubs. Nessie shows interest in learning to swim. Her house breaking is going very well. She is really good with cats and children. She loves other friendly dogs, but we think she would be quicker to trust a new owner without other dogs in her household to depend on. Ness needs a patient, firm and loving person in a reasonably quiet, consistent home where she can continue to grow and be appreciated for the treasure she is developing into. Basic obedience will be a requirement for her adoption. She is not a high energy dog. Ness will be spayed before placement. She is being fostered in Connecticut.
You MUST first fill out an adoption application AND have a home visit BEFORE being considered for any NEBCR dog. As this process can take time, we recommend that you complete these first 2 steps BEFORE inquiring about a specific dog.
