Lovey Smith's Story...
Lovey Smith is an adorable, lovable 2 year old male Cocker Spanial who was found neglected and eating out of the garbage in Greenport. He is currently the office dog but is sure to be adopted soon.

He is no longer neglected and has responded well to tender loving care. He will need a patient owner to work with him on hosubreaking and selaration issues.

Lovey will be neutered, vaccinated, wormed, health checked and microchipped prior to placement.

If you want a loving companion dog, call quickly. Lovey won't be in a shelter for long!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lovey Smith, a Peconic Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Peconic, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Peconic.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Peconic already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Peconic breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Peconic paves the way for another one to be saved.
