I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking

Rusty's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Rusty's Story...
It is URGENT! The pound is over full of cats and kittens!

Rusty unfortunately had to come to the pound when his elderly owner had to leave her home and go into the hospital with serious medical conditions. He is a wonderful and calm boy. So sad, he would love to get out of his cage and back into a home environment again. We have no prior history, except that he is neutered and we will bring him current on his rabies vaccine. He is very tidy in his cage.

Act quickly to adopt Rusty. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Kent breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Kent paves the way for another one to be saved.
