Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Josie (short for Josephine) has had a rough past and is ready for a fresh start in a loving home. She's AKC registered, and it's evident that she's been bred, maybe more than once. She's had at least three owners that we know of, and we think her foster home may be the first time she's been kept indoors. She's very sweet and doesn't meet a stranger. She doesn't know any tricks, but we're working on teaching her the basics.
Don't let that gray face fool you. Josie is only six years old and very spry. She loves to retrieve a tennis ball and gets along great with other dogs. She's also content to lay in the floor and relax. She's shown zero signs of aggression and rarely barks. She's only about 50 lbs, housebroken and crate trained. She loves stuffed toys - maybe a little too much! Josie is currently being fostered in Huntington, WV. If you would like to offer Josie a forever home, please submit an application which you can download from our website.
