Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sampson is a 2 1/2 year old mantle male with natural ears. He came to rescue due to economic reasons. Sampson came to rescue named Mr. Pig, but his foster mom says I look too regal and majestic to be called Pig, so he is now Sampson. Sampson is just learning how to be a confident, fun loving Dane. He is a nervous boy that really likes his foster dad a lot. He plays ball, chase, and tug of war with Sampson. Sampson is good with other dogs, cat, and children over the age of 12.
Update 11/4/11 - I am happy to announce that the doctor says I'm ready for adoption after being neutered. I really enjoy the other dogs in my foster home. I don't like to left alone for long periods of time. I am a smart boy who is learning both hand signals (as my foster brother and sister are deaf) and well as verbal commands; sit, stay, down, paw and come. I am still working on learning how to walk on a leash without pulling. There is just so much to see and explore. I am not a counter surfer as my foster mom has taught me house manners. I love attention and really love to cuddle with my foster dad. I love to go for car rides but am unsure of strangers and I make sure my foster parents know that someone is coming close to the car or the house. My foster home has horses and they are very interesting as they stand taller than I however, one of them when I stand on my hind legs whinnies at me as we can see eye to eye. I don't chase them just like to see them.
