Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Monty: 2-3 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 15", 12.5 lb. Shots up-to-date. Rescued from shelter.
Do you have experience with min pins and LOVE the breed? If so, Monty may just be the dog for you! Monty has all the typical min pin traits, both good and bad.......tons of energy, loves to bolt and run, playful with other dogs, "intimidating" to strangers, but incredibly loving to "his person". Once he knows you, Monty will be your constant companion and will want to be with you all the time, especially at bedtime. Monty is crate trained and can be crated when left alone. I wish we could capture it on camera because it's so cute, but Monty likes to sit with one paw in the air and his head cocked to the side. That coupled with his one ear up and one ear down look makes him irresistible. The only thing more adorable is to see him walking on the treadmill with his foster mom! Too cute for words.
Because of his high energy and his typical min pin nature, Monty must go to a home that has experience with the breed. He definitely needs an adults-only home with a fenced yard, and another dog to play with.
