This stunning fawn boy is Brutus! He is a 6 1/2 year old (DOB 3/20/05) Great Dane with cropped and standing ears. Brutus is quite a special boy, but is a delight in the hands of the right owner. After reviewing this wonderful boy's history and evaluating him extensively, it has been decided that Bru will only be released to a home with a balanced, calm Dane or Mastiff companion, and experienced adopters. He is certainly NOT hard to handle at all - he just has a very, very skittish/nervous temperament and his mental and physical wellbeing suffers without just the right balance. Smaller dogs have not shown to help him much in overcoming this, which is why he must have another "big pup" buddy. Experienced, current giant breed owners are highly encouraged to apply - this boy is everything you could want in a Dane companion, and then some - but only if your environment matches his needs. Without it, he simply falls apart and just can't get a good bearing on how to act or what to do, no matter how experienced or savvy the owner may be.
This sweet boy loves his people - loves cuddles, loves to play and zoom, and he even brings you presents (usually a stuffy toy) when you come home. Bru is not destructive and has lovely house manners.
