Miss Margot is a 4 year old spayed Collie/Sheltie mix female who is a medium size dog. She is current on all her vaccinations and tested negative for heartworms. Miss Margot has the sweetest disposition and is a very quiet girl with such a gentle soul. She loves to get human attention and would do great in a home either with another dog or as an only dog. She isn't an overly active dog, however, she does like to play with other dogs. She knows sit and walks very well on a leash. She enjoys going to her kennel as her safe/quiet place and loves to curl up in a ball on her dog bed. Miss Margot is such a lucky girl as she gets to spend time at Dog Pawz playing with lots of other dogs. She is crate trained and housetrained. Come meet Miss Margot!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Margot, a Overland Park Collie/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Collie/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Collie/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
