Molly's Story...
Hi! My name is Molly! I am a 1 year old, 3.7lbs spayed female Chihuahua. I am from a hoarding case in Weld County. There was 14 of us living in an apartment, so I haven't been outside since I was rescued in August. I am almost housetrained, it's hard to hold it sometimes! I love to chew on my nyla bones, follow and cuddle with my foster parents. I will not be placed in a home with children younger than 12 years old or energetic dogs(due to my size). I prefer calm dogs that are my size. I am very sweet and smart, not to mention cute as a button! Please contact RRCR if you would like to meet me! My adoption fee is $225.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Fort Collins Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
