Olivia's Story...
Meet Olivia!! She is an absolutely wonderful girl!! Olivia is only 5 months old and is a living doll!!! She is a herding dog, which doesn't sometimes does not mix well with young children because herding dogs herd.....EVERYTHING! Cattle dogs are some of the most amazing dogs out there, but they do need daily exercise and mental stimulation. They are among the most intelligent of all dogs and there is nothing they can't learn with the right owner. Olivia's previous owner said they had been working on housebreaking but is doing excellent so far on housetraining in her new foster home. She is also playing very well with the other dogs. Olivia is an exceptional little girl, looking for an owner deserving of such a treasure as her!!

As HAHS now has several adoption locations, please contact Candy or Mark at 816/916-3685 or lelandsable-hahs@comcast.net to find out when and where you can meet OLIVIA!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Overland Park Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
