Lennon's Story...
Lennon has spent the last few months chained outside. Now he's getting ready for the life he deserves. He looks like a small White German Shepherd (54 pounds) and we're not sure what other breed might be contributing to his good looks and winning personality; maybe Labrador or Golden Retriever? He's GREAT at retrieving! He loves to play with toys, chase balls and run. He used to play with a Min Pin and a small Golden mix. Now he plays with my feral 44 pound toto-dog, Thistle. And he's very respectful of Lisbeth, my elderly WGSD. He also has charmed my 6 year old 80 pound GSD, Ringo. Lennon gets along with ANYONE! He's also learning agility; he's a natural.

We think Lennon is about 1 1/2 years old. He's a very happy boy. He's learning good leash manners. He enjoys his large crate. We're also working on the usual commands.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lennon, a Conyers German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Conyers, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Conyers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conyers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conyers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conyers paves the way for another one to be saved.
