My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pogo was dumped on the side of a rural country road in TN. That's what we deal with daily here in rural TN since the economy has taken a dive. Dogs are not considered "a family member" to many here and are the first to go when faced with a job or home loss.

Pogo is aprx. 3 yrs. old and got her name because she has a vertical jump any athlete would die for. She does that @ the front door to be let in!

We believe her to be a lab mix, but the 2nd breed we are guessing. She is aprx. 45 pounds with a med. energy level. She is fine with other dogs, but will not back down if challenged. Her current foster mom believes she might have schipperke as the 2nd breed. She is about knee-high in size, but "photographs larger".

She will sit with a hand signal and will shake hands. Pogo is crate trained.

Pogo loves riding in the car and would make a fantastic companion dog. She's just waiting for a chance. As you can see...she loves helping with outside chores!

She is spayed, UTD on shots, HW neg. and on preventative.
