Whitey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Whitey's Story...
Whitey is, well, milky white. But, this 1-year-old American Staffordshire
mix is also friendly and mild-mannered. Most importantly, he is athletic.
A volunteer walker wrote "A great dog with a lot of energy. Great to do
running with." And jogging and frisbee throwing and bicycle riding and
any other activity to keep you and him in shape. Because he is young and
enthusiastic, you would enjoy teaching him his commands. Despite all his
energy, he can sit patiently as shown in his photos. Oh, he is soft --
that is his white fur is velvety soft -- but not his graceful classical
form. So, if you are active, then do yourself a big favor and adopt
Whitey. You would gain a devoted playmate and save a splendid animal.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whitey, a New York American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
