Shelby (female) BOXER...
Everyone has a story...this is mine. I'm a 3 1/2 year old boxer. My current owner got me from some people that were not taking care of me. That was two years ago. Now, his father-in-law has had surgery, and he had to move in with him to help out. He is also having to help out financially and that means there isn't enough money for him to take care of me. I'm sad and scared. I'm not sure what will happen to me and that is not a good feeling to have. I'm a bigger gal....weighing in at about 70 pounds. But I'm PURE LOVE. I love to give slobbery smooches. I tend to be anxious at times and while some of that is my breed...a lot of it has to do with my past and the people that didn't take care of me. My owner is making do for now, but I need a new home soon. I am a dominant female, so I need a home with no female dogs. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to Pet Savers of $30 for their help in rehoming me and to help assure I go to a good home.
