Monty's mother is a great Pyrenees and he has the gentle sweet personality so typical of the breed.. He is nine months old and will be great in just about any family. Despite his size he is an indoor dog and is house trained. He loves other dogs and kids and with proper exercise and training can be the best family pet. . He will grow to 90-100 pounds, and caring for the for these gentle giants does take dedication and understanding.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monty, a San Angelo Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in San Angelo, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in San Angelo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Angelo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Angelo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Angelo paves the way for another one to be saved.
