Gus Henry's Story...
Howdy folks!! Its me, Gus Henry, a very awesome 6 year old beagle boy!! I was at the county shelter, when the Arizona Beagle Rescue folks came and got me!! It was in the nick of time, I tell ya!! I was pretty sick in that place, but they got me all fixed up, and now I'm ready to find my new people!! I am one sweet boy, and just look at me, I am very handsome as well. They really don't know too much about me yet. I am still in the darn boarding facility and would sure like to be sleeping on a nice bed in someone's cozy house instead of the hard concrete floor. But I will wait, and I do hope it won't be too long. So, if you think I might fit into your pack, please contact AZBR ASAP!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gus Henry, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
