Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bruce is listed as a referral.
If you are looking for a mini Aussie mix with maximum affection, Bruce could be the dog for you! Weighing in at only 26 pounds, Bruce fits nicely in laps :)
Bruce is extremely affectionate and craves attention from people. He likes to crawl up on the couch or in the recliner with his foster family and cuddle. He's also big on belly rubs. He's crate-trained and housebroken, and he will sit for treats.
Bruce was rescued on a stormy day on Wurzbach Parkway. His rescuer noticed that traffic had slowed to a crawl. She soon saw why - there was a dog inbetween the two lanes of traffic, looking at the cars as if he was looking for his "people." Sadly, no one ever claimed him.
Bruce loves to chase, play, and wrestle with dogs his size. He doesn't appear to be very fond of cats, so would do best in a home with no cats. Bruce has a tendency to be food aggressive, so he might do best in a home with older children. Because of his breed, he is probably too active for small children.
He's smart, and already knows "kennel" and "go outside" (his potty command). Bruce would love to attend training sessions to learn to sit, lie down, stay, etc. Aussies are known for being highly intelligent dogs and enjoy the challenge of training and agility.
