Flash's Story...
If you’re ready for excitement, fun, and a dash of adorableness, you’re ready for me – Flash. You hear my name, and you might think of the theme song to the 1980 Flash Gordon film – Freddie Mercury of Queen revving up the excitement by singing, “Flash, a-ah!” I don’t need musical accompaniment to bring the excitement. No, have feather toy and Flash together, excitement is on the horizon. Kitty tunnel to crawl through – I’ll be hiding in there unbeknownst to you and then – “Flash, a-ah!” Those silly volunteers thought they could force me to wear a collar with my name on it – yep, I had that silly thing off in a Flash! I will definitely sit still, though, for snuggles. I’m rather an affectionate and outgoing guy. I’m known to talk from time to time as well – well, only in kitty-speak. You won’t hear the words “Flash” or “a-ah!” out of me. I’m anxious to find a home of my own with a loving family – no Ming the Merciless, please! This Flash is too cute to have to fight – I’d rather love…well, and play!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flash, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
