Rufus's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rufus's Story...
Rufus is a male adult Shih Tzu weighing only 14 lbs. This little guy is so full of personality! He was neglected and abandoned along with 3 other small dogs and he seems to be the "father figure" for the group. He is especially close to Duffy (seen separately) so if you were inclined to adopt a couple of pets, it would be great if they could be adopted together.

All our pets are fully vetted and heartworm tested

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rufus, a Cleveland Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
