Gretchen's Story...
Hello, My name is Gretchen and I am a 7 1/2 week old schnauzer/pug mix. In the designer breed world, I am known as a schnug. My sister, two brothers and I were surrendered by our owners right after we were weaned. They didn't want to have to deal with taking care of babies.

Now we are in a wonderful foster home and being spoiled rotten! We get along great with each other, other dogs, cats and children. Right now I weigh around 4lbs. If you are interested in adopting me, please email delsw7@aol.com and ask for an adoption application. If you just can't live without me, make sure to tell them you want to pre-adopt me. This will ensure that I get to go home with you and no one else can adopt me!

My adoption fee is $450.00. Love, Gretchen.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gretchen, a Oswego Schnauzer (Standard)/Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Pug for sale in Oswego, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Pug puppy from a breeder in Oswego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oswego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oswego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Pug breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oswego paves the way for another one to be saved.
