Poncho's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Poncho's Story...
Poncho is a 5-month old neutered male Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier mix who recently joined our Adoptables when he was abandoned by his previous Owners. He is currently 14-lbs and will most likely top out to being around 25-lbs when mature.

Poncho is a very smart little guy who loves to learn. His housebreaking is coming along nicely and he is crate trained. He walks well on leash and is well socialized round dogs, cats and other small animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poncho, a Orange Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Orange, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Orange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange paves the way for another one to be saved.
