Gobber's Story...
Hi I am Gobber. I am a Golden Retriever/Sheltie mix. I am neutered and up to date on all my shots. My Mom was left in a basement and she took care of us until she felt it was safe to take us out. Our birthday is approximately August 16, 2011. We are being fostered with children, cats, and lots of other animals. We are very friendly and would love a family of our own. Please, please consider me as your forever pup.

To find out more information about this pup please email us at heathershouseofhounds@gmail.com. We will provide information about our process/paperwork and you can request an application there as well. Thank you and we look forward to helping you find your new fur-ever friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gobber, a Hagerstown Golden Retriever/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
