Sushi's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Sushi's Story...
Sushi is a sweet little Tortoiseshell colored kitty. (Orange and black). Sushi has much the same expressions as Grumpy Cat of internet fame, and a cranky, hoarse little 'meow' to match. Hilarious! She has a snub-nosed face, a bit like a Persian, and expressive golden eyes. Sushi loooooves treats. She also really likes being petted. She is curious and affectionate, and gets along with other cats. She's not really a lap-cat, as she prefers to be on her own two feet, but she'll certainly greet you at the door! Sushi is 4 years old, and is on a special diet. She is a healthy kitty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sushi, a Syracuse American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Syracuse, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Syracuse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Syracuse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Syracuse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Syracuse paves the way for another one to be saved.
