Thank you for your interest in Sugar, the rescue who is bringing Sugar has the information on Sugar's background. The rescue has asked Dog Days to pre-screen interested adopters for all of their dogs coming to our event.
Sugar is a very loving dog! She is about 19 pounds, little and chunky. She loves to be close and will lay her sweet head on your shoulder. Sugar gets along great with other dogs, loves all people, and has been with a 10 year old child. She will make a faithful and affectionate companion to someone or a family. She has a great nature and will win everyone's heart.

If you would like to begin the application process please fill in the form at the link above and we will forward your information to the rescue for their review. We will call your references and vet reference if applicable. If you are renting please note you must have a written letter of permission from your landlord to own a dog on their property.
The rescue will be conducting interviews for adopters at our event weekend in Killingworth, CT at the end of this month. Pre-screened adopters will be interviewed first and then walk-in applications will be reviewed. As a policy the rescues will not hold dogs for potential adopters so it is important to come to the event Saturday morning if you have your heart set on a particular dog. We will be posting more information on each dog as we get closer to the event weekend.
