Hi my name is Brownie. I am a 2 yr. old Brindle mix female. I weight about 35 pounds. I am very shy at first when I meet you but with time will warm up to you. It just takes me a little longer to know I can trust you not to hurt me. I am good with other dogs and kids. I love to play! I also like to sleep with you once I get comfortable with you. I am looking for someone who will be patient with me and give me a wonderful forever home. I am up to date on vaccinations and have been spayed.

About Hickman Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission and focus is to benefit the lives of the animals and people in our county by providing for the humane treatment of pets thru foster care, appropriate medical care, rehabilitation of pets, comprehensive adoption coordination, consistent spay/neuter funding programs and public education with a goal of reducing the homeless pet population, irresponsible breeding and the prevention of cruelty and neglect to animals.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Since ALL of our funding is from donations (we are not supported by a government agency), fundraising and a few spay/neuter grants, we always need monetary donations and food and supply donations including straw and bedding material. With winter coming we could really use some more dog houses and tarps (used is welcome). Used crates are also always needed. Pick up can be arranged within a reasonable distance. Thank you for your support.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are in foster homes with families to help them transition better into YOUR family. Please email our adoption coordinator at jeibrab@aol.com for more details.
