Daphne's Story...
Daphne is a sweet, slightly shy kitten who will come out of her shell and make a great companion. She just needs to get out of foster care/PetSmart to a forever home where she'll have a little more one-on-one attention. She gets along great with adult cats and kittens, but will need to be introduced to dogs slowly.

Daphne is about 3 months old. She is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. Her adoption fee is $85.

Daphne is waiting for you at the Bunker Hill PetSmart located at I-10 and Bunker Hill in the HEB shopping center. You can meet the cats and adopt any time the store is open.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
