Abbey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Abbey's Story...
Abbey is a gorgeous, red and black, 2 year old female German Shepherd Dog. Although petite, standing at 22 inches tall at the whithers and approximately 55lbs she has tremendous energy and lots of GO GO GO! Abbeys ideal home would be someone who is active, and can take Abbey hiking, swimming, or biking.

She is socialized with other dogs and around cats. She could live with dog friendly cats. Abbey has great food drives and play drives. She loves to track and stay busy, which can sometimes get her into trouble. Because Abbey is extremely active, she'd do best in an adults-only home or one with children over 10.

Abbey completed training in basic and intermediate commands, household manners, and her crate. She has competition Obedience, Tracking, and Rally foundation. Her adoption includes follow up lessons with her trainer.

Abbey is not suited for calm life, she's a small dog with huge energy to burn. Her new home MUST be able to work with her, keep her active, and maintain training. Because she is active, Abbey requires a home with a fenced yard.

Abbey is up to date on vaccinations and vet care. She is spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abbey, a Roswell German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Roswell, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
