My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pip ~ He is about 4 yrs old. He was pulled from the shelter when his time had run out. Poor Pip is very timid and shy when he first meets you. He wants to trust you but it takes him awhile to warm up to you. He will wag his tail and bow to you like he wants to come but is just really afraid. We can definitely tell he has been abused.

UPDATE ~ Pip spent two weeks with our dog trainer and his confidence grew leaps and bounds. He is doing much better!! He now comes to you when you call his name, he walks better on a leash and is doing better with realizing that he can trust people a lot quicker.

We are thinking he would do better in a home without small children. That way he will not get nervous and anxious. He seems to do better in quieter homes. He does seem to do better with people that are the pack leader! He loves guidance and direction from you...so he will constantly look at you for you to tell him what to do. He will be your little shadow. We feel with a little patience on your end he and continued training he will make a wonderful little pet!!
