Marissa's Story...
Marissa is a female mostly black kitten with a little bit of white on her neck! What a sweetheart! She looks very surprised in this picture doesn't she? She loves to play hard with her brothers, sisters and cousins and then they all sleep in a big pile! She is currently around 20 weeks. She likes dogs and the one picture is of her getting ready to lay on one! She is such a cutie!

I will be at Petco in Greensburg (Walmart Plaza) this Sat, Dec 17th from 11am - 3pm hoping someone will come adopt me and take me home in time for Xmas. Stop and see how cute I am!

Adoption donation is $65.00. She is current on shots, Leukemia negative and wormed. We offer a low cost spay program for an additional $45. Ask for details!

Contact Mary at 724-423-5571 or email her at mary@animalkeepersrescue.org to schedule an appointment to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marissa, a Acme Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Acme, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Acme.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acme already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acme breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acme paves the way for another one to be saved.
