Donovan's Story...
Hello- I'm Donovan. I'm a fairly young Border-Collie mix (my teeth are still super white). I am super sweet and fantastic on a leash (if I do say so myself). I am a little shy at first, but I warm up fairly quickly. In fact, I enjoy being close to you. I would be even more gorgeous with a nice brushing! I get along great with other dogs and was very calm and curious around this cat too! I am smaller in person than I look (the hair makes me look bigger). Please call Joan at 870-739-1145 if you can give me a forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Donovan, a Marion Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Marion, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
