Winston’s owner’s moved and left him behind scared and alone in a high kill shelter. He was not “showing” well in the shelter and was slated to be euthanized to make space for more adoptable pets.
Winston is non-shedding and may be ideal for allergy sufferers. He will need to be brushed daily and taken to the groomers about every 8wks for clipping to keep his hair free of painful mats and tangles.

Winston is a dear little dog. He is nervous and unsure about what has been going on with his live but still loves attention from people. He is great with other dogs, he doesn’t play much but rather just enjoys another dog for companionship. He is fine with cats and respectful children of any age however due to him being a little shy and unsure at the moment from his scary experience at the pound we’d really like to find him a home with no small kids under 8yrs. Winston is crate trained and house trained, he can be crated or given free roam when left alone. He likes a good daily walk and enjoys getting out for fresh air and socializing. He is unsure about being picked up but does like to cuddle and be held once he feels secure. We’d love to find a patient, more mature home for Winston so he can start to rest easy and come out of his shell a little more. Winston is calm, clean and quiet in the home. He is suitable for a house with a fenced yard or an apartment.
