Remy - female, spayed, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-), ~10mos, Lab/Pointer.
Rescue from high kill shelter. Did you know black dogs, regardless of breed or age have a hard time finding homes in shelters. Many end up being euthanized because they are over looked for too long and run out of time.
Remy is a beautiful, active, loveable pup. She is eager to find a family that is just as energetic as she is so she can get out and enjoy some of this fall weather! Remy gets along with other dogs and would enjoy another dog in her home. She’d also have a blast at the doggy parks! We have not had her around cats but would likely be fine with a proper leashed introduction. She is good with respectful children. Remy is crate trained and house trained, she needs to stay crated at night and when left alone for a little longer until she is well out of the mischievous puppy stage (another couple of months). Remy needs a little work on her obedience skills and would love for her new owner to take her for some obedience classes. She needs a good walk each day and some play time in the yard. Remy is sure to make a fantastic buddy for an active, outdoorsy family looking for a loyal, fun companion. Remy needs a house with a fenced yard.
