My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I've loved and been owned by Pekes since 1989 and can honestly say that Colby is ONE OF THE BEST! He is sweet, he is smart, and he is so very loving! Oh - and don't forget handsome! Colby is a 4 yr. old all red beauty - and, at only a lightweight 12 lbs., he travels very well. He loves to ride in the car, and gets all excited when he sees his leash come out.

Colby gets along with other dogs, big or small, and lives in total harmony with cats. He likes nothing more than to sit with you on the couch getting his belly rubbed!

Colby is being fostered near Mays Landing, NJ and his asking adoption fee is $250.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
