My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Miss Suzy who came to us because her family couldn’t take care of her. She’s an 11 years old pure breed Pekingese and is a sweet as can be. Suzy dose have very bad dry eyes and will need to have eye meds 3 times a day for the rest of her life. She also has a heart murmur, but no noise is heard. Suzy also needs to gain some weight as you can see every bone in her body. When checked by our vet after a fully blood screen we found no reason for her being skin and bones other beside poor food or lack of food.


Suzy is doing very well on house training using a puppy pads if you don’t take her out every couple of hours. She enjoys going for short walks to check things out. She enjoys sleeping on your lap or by your side.


Suzy will need another small dog around and a fenced in yard. Due to her size please no young children under 13 years old, as young child could hurt her.


If you think you can help Suzy overcome her past life of neglect, and have a ton of love to give to this little girl let her foster Mother know why you would be the best forever home for Suzy. Suzy will not be at adoption days due because they are very stressful, but you can meet her at her foster home after you fill out an application for her.
