My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiwi, Mango, Pip and Coco are four cockatiels who are hand tame, sweet and social. Each bird has it's own personality. Coco (male) and Pip (female) are whitefaced 'tiels who were born in ~ early 2009. They love to sit on shoulders and heads and play with toys. Mango is a pied male who was born in ~November 2008. He is a complete ham and loves to be petted. Mango is boisterous and friendly and loves to come out to play. Kiwi is a male gray 'tiel who was born in ~1999. He is sweet but can have his slightly grumpier times. Of the four, Kiwi is least interested in exploring, but he very much does enjoy attention from his caregivers.

The 'tiels love cherrios and toys. They love attention and are very eager to make happy, gentle noises throughout the day. The 'tiels are curious and do not mind other friendly family pets nearby. They also enjoy daily mist showers.

The 'tiels foster has determined that all four birds are very bonded and must remain together. Pip and Coco share a cage next to Mango and Kiwi's shared cage. The birds are happy with this arrangement as long as they can see and interact with each other. They might also do very well in a large cage or indoor aviary large enough for them all to share. They all come out to play together. They draw comfort from each other and they enjoy each other's company. They absolutely may not be used for breeding.
