My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phipps and his 3 siblings were saved from our local kill shelter. They were brought in as strays so nothing is known of their background.

We believe them to be "dorkie pups" which is a cross between yorkie and dachshund. Wire-haired doxie might also be in there. Phipps and his other littermates love to romp and play - they are pretty high energy. He is in a foster home with many other dogs of all sizes. He runs and plays in a 3/4 acre fenced yard daily and naps periodically - and then goes right back for more! Mr. Phipps we believe would not be happy in an apartment atmosphere. He needs a yard to run in and perhaps a doggie buddy would be best! He weighs 12 pounds now at age 5 mo. and we believe he will top out around 25 pounds. Of course, since we don't know his background, this is only a guess on our part.

Phipps is in foster care in E. TN and will be transported north to his forever home.The transport company (Alpha Dog Transport) charges $125 when your pup is claimed. Their vet records are also handed off at that time.
Phipps is UTD on shots - puppy shots (parvo/distemper), rabies shot, and is neutered.
