for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rufus's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rufus's Story...
Rufus bonds tightly to his person and will be protective. He is looking for a forever home with a family of adults and/or one with older children. Although Rufus doesn't warm up quickly to strangers, once he gets to know you he is very happy to snuggle up next to you. He will learn to trust just about anyone who is calm, gentle, and patient. He loves to run and romp with his best friend, Rocky, who is also up for adoption and we would separate them if a great family offered a home for just one of them. Rufus is house, crate, and leash trained and is a polite little guy to have around the house. If you can't make a lifetime commitment to Rufus, won't you please consider offering him a temporary home through our Foster Home program?

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you sterilized, up-to-date on shots, micro-chipped and treated for internal and external parasites. An adoption fee of $225 will help offset the cost of care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rufus, a West Richland Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in West Richland, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in West Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
