Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Eleanor came to us as the bonus dog when we were pulling a young male from an
area shelter. We were asked "did you know about the older female?" . We didn't and we couldn't leave her behind so now she is happily in rescue.
Eleanor is a friendly, sociable dachshund. She seems to like everyone. She is an older girl (approx 8 years old) but she is still frisky enough that she plays with the young dogs in her foster home.
She had been picked up as a stray and it appears Eleanor had her share of litters in the past, including recently. Poor girl.
Eleanore crates quietly. She loves getting out and about for walks, She is
quiet. She is good with other dogs. She enjoys a good cuddle.
Eleanore will soon be spayed and receive a dental. (She had to recover from kennel cough first). Eleanore is very much looking forward to having her first good home!
The tax deductible donation for Eleanore is $150. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out the online adoption application at www.scdr.org
