Here's what the humans have to say about me:
After spending weeks at a hgh kill shelter, Mason can finally breath a sigh of relief and start purring again! This handsome boy was a staff favorite...and thanks to them, his life was spared. This boy is a treasure.
While Mason may not be able to produce his "pedigree papers", he has the "look" and many of the qualities of the much loved Maine Coon breed. He's estimated to be 1-2 yrs old and still has alot of growing to do...Maine Coons develop slowly, and don't achieve their full size until they are three to five years old. You'll see his potential when you take one look at his very large paws!
He is a lean, , gentle & good-natured boy...who still retains that kittenish love of play. He is very people-oriented , but not overly-dependent. Mason does not constantly pester you for attention, but prefer to "hang out" with his person. Maine Coons are relaxed and easy-going in just about everything they do and Mason is no exception.
He stands up to push his head into your palm to get more petting! He is grateful for attention and just soaks it up. Maon likes being brushed & doesn't mind being picked up and held..and will often crawl up on a lap. He also enjoys the company of other cats and is just fine with the dog in his foster home.
(The vet diagnosed him as having - anisocornia ( pupils different sizes). He said it wasn't a serious condition & that Mason could see out of both eyes).
