My name is Peatty!

Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog Mix Dog for adoption in Milan, New York - Peatty

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Peatty's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Peatty's Story...
Peatty needs a home or rescue/foster!!!! Peatty is a 2 year old neutered male, mutt to the max. He appears to be a mix of rottie, shepherd, great dane, and hound. All we know for sure is that he is a BIG boy (probably 110 lbs or more?), up to date on all his shots, and rescued from a high kill shelter. Peatty needs a new home in which he is the only dog (he has lived with many dogs, but guards his and his owners food when it comes to fellow canine housemates, he has NEVER shown aggression towards people). This is the only reason he needs rescue (that, and because he needs ROOM TO ROAM... right now he lives in a crowded small apartment on Long Island and it is just not sufficient or fair to him.

Peatty is a gentle giant when it comes to humans and lives peacefully with a 3 year old child. Because of his size and goofiness (he loves to dance and talk), I would stick to older children. Peatty knows "sit" "paw" and "settle" (aka down). Do you want a loyal partner? Peatty bonds quickly with his people. Do you want a JOGGING or gardening partner? Peatty is active and hilarious. Please email Sandi.Kay@hotmail.com or call (718) 502-5346 if you are interested in learning more, filling out an application, and meeting this strikingly handsome fellow who desperately needs and deserves a home! Please crosspost! Will transport to Connecticut, upstate New York, etc etc... actually, I would drive an entire day to re-home this sweety!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peatty, a Milan Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Milan, or seeking a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Milan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milan paves the way for another one to be saved.
