Jester's Story...
Jester is an adorable young male pup who is about 6 months old. He is black and red and fearless. He loves playing with his foster brothers. He is working on house training and on crate training. Jester is a typical happy, social puppy who loves to play with toys and people. He loves to play fetch.
He is higher energy and plays very rough and tumble style of play with other dogs. So, he needs a home where he will get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, boundaries and training. He also needs a 4 legged sibling who is his equal or more dominant than himself.

Jester is workable with cats.

He is being fostered in the Fresno area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jester, a Fresno German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fresno, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Fresno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fresno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fresno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fresno paves the way for another one to be saved.
