Ratchet's Story...
Ratchet is a very sweet boy, an has been a pleasant guest in my home. He is a good tempered little boy that gets along with my dogs and cats. He is 19lbs, fawn and black in color, and 4 years of age. He has one eye that was damaged before we rescued him, the veterinarian said it was not causing him any pain now. The other eye is fine. He loves toys an playing outside, sadly it’s all new to him seeing as he was kept in a cat carrier that he couldn’t even stand up in. He has all his shots, dewormed, first month of heart guard, front line, and is fixed… All thanks to PROoF. This was all done on 9/27. He has been checked over by the vet an has a clean bill of health. Now all he needs is a forever home to love an to love him.

His adoption fee is $275 to help defray vet costs and he is located in Tampa. Complete an adoption application here. If you love me but can’t adopt me, please send a donation to help pay medical bills for not just me but my fellow foster brothers and sisters. They sure could use it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ratchet, a Windermere Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Windermere, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Windermere.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windermere already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windermere breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windermere paves the way for another one to be saved.
